This is a normal, inexpensive vacuum cleaner. The on/off button and cord rewind button are located separately, which is very convenient. There is a power control. Very lightweight, which allows you to carry anywhere you want. The power is quite enough. I can't say that it is very quiet. It is noisy but not critical.
