iRobot Roomba i3 is one of the best innovations in the field of robotic vacuum cleaners in recent years.
The device has a function of self-cleaning, which becomes especially important for people who are allergic to dust. Vacuum cleaners with this feature usually cost more than analogues, but the functionality of the vacuum cleaner fully justifies its cost.

Functionality
The iRobot Roomba i3 has three buttons on top: a large clean/power button in the middle, flanked by Home and Spot Clean buttons on both sides.
Around the clean/power button is a ring light that is off most of the time, but pulses white when the robot is charging, glows solid white when it is fully charged, pulses red when the battery is low, glows blue when it is searching for its clean base, and blinks blue when it is in dirt detection mode.
While some robot vacuums have shiny mirror covers that show off dust, the i3 has a gray matte textured finish on top that looks almost like cloth and minimizes fingerprints.
The vacuum cleaner also has a space restriction sensor (RCON) on top, which allows it to detect a clean base, and a light touch sensor on the front to detect walls and other obstacles.

Pluses and minuses of the model
The advantages of the model include:

This is a very interesting, comfortable model, which I am completely satisfied. I am pleased with the ability to control it through the app.
In the application iRobot Home for Android and iOS you can start a new cleaning job, create a schedule, view the history of actions, update settings, get help if there are problems.
I choose several days a week when I create my schedule and I can know for sure that coming home after a busy day at work I won't encounter mountains of trash my dog left behind - the robot can handle almost any task of cleaning and, unlike the maid, it won't ask for extra fees.
