Panasonic NI-E510TDTW Iron: review, specifications, pros / cons, reviews

A lightweight iron for quick ironing of clothes with a scratch-resistant soleplate and limescale protection. The body of this model is made of durable plastic, the handle is rubberized on top. The iron is easy to hold and press with your fingers on the buttons, which, incidentally, there are only two: one for spraying water, the other for steam delivery.

Traditionally, below lies the steam adjustment lever, and under the handle itself there is a round temperature regulator with three modes, for each of which the type of fabric is prescribed.

Functionality

The model has a quality soleplate with titanium coating, which slides easily through fabric. The scratch-resistant sole is not affected by zippers or buttons on clothes. For smoothing small creases and dents, there is a steam impact of up to 80 grams per minute and vertical steaming.

It also has a limescale protection: it prevents calcium buildup, which usually clogs the steam holes. So your iron will last longer than usual.

Features

Water drawer is small, so is the water tank, holds only 210 ml. But the cord is long enough: 18 meters with swivel + rotates 360 degrees.

Pros and cons of the model

Pros:

  • a good iron for its money;
  • very lightweight;
  • glides well;
  • vertical steaming.

Cons: small soleplate.

Specifications

  • Power: 2380 W
  • Steam consumption on impact: 84 g/min
  • Water tank capacity: 200 ml

Customer reviews

Mikhail:

This is the third iron that we have changed in the last few years, and so far I am very happy with this one. Yes, it's not the most powerful iron, but it is extremely lightweight and easy to maintain, and unlike our past irons, it does not leak.
